He currently works as a factory manager at EAA Manufacturing Limited in Accra, Ghana, from 2023 to date. Previously worked as production manager at DTRT Limited Ghana from January 2014 to September 2019.

22+ years of apparel experience, specializing in building start-up production facilities in non-traditional apparel production locations and growing them into efficient and reliable factories.

He is the factory manager at KRISTEL GARMENTS and previously served as the industrial engineering and manufacturing execution system manager at MAZAVA Fabric and Production East Africa (Tanzania).

Moses Laar is a seasoned garment industry expert with over a decade of experience in apparel production, factory operations, and consulting. He has held key leadership roles, including factory manager at Sixteen47, various managerial positions at DTRT Apparel, and social compliance manager at both DTRT and Maagrace Garments. His expertise extends to consulting for companies on factory setup and expansion, including Unijay Company Ltd., House of Damaris, Manice Garments, MPO Ltd., and Cyndex Ltd. He has played a pivotal role in establishing Integrity Prime Apparel in Ghana and Lestaj Designs Ltd in Nigeria, and he is currently supporting the expansion of ModernEr Garments in Uganda. Moses combines operational leadership and industry knowledge to drive efficiency, growth, and sustainability in Africa’s apparel sector.

Holding an MSc in Health and Safety, he combines academic knowledge with practical experience to ensure safe working environments, minimize hazards, and enhance workplace efficiency. Throughout his career, Abdul has implemented comprehensive safety protocols that align with industry regulations, fostering a culture of workplace safety and employee well-being.
