Northshore Foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of Northshore Apparel GH Ltd, operating as a non-profit under the laws of Ghana. We design and deliver evidence-based programs that improve lives and strengthen community systems.
Mission
To enhance the quality of life for underprivileged communities through impactful, transparent, and accountable initiatives aligned with national development priorities and global sustainability principles.
What We Do
- Health: Improve maternal and child outcomes; equip underserved facilities; co-run prenatal and postnatal programs.
- Education: Provide scholarships; deliver market-relevant skills training; support essential school infrastructure.
- Sustainable Livelihoods: Build community resilience; accelerate entrepreneurship and income opportunities.
- Climate Resilience: Equip communities to adapt to climate change; promote sustainable environmental practices.
- Social Inclusion: Advance gender equality, disability inclusion, and youth empowerment; support CBOs; promote accessible services.
How We Operate
- Governance: A five-member Board of Trustees appointed by Northshore Apparel GH Ltd; quarterly meetings; specialist committees as needed.
- Funding: Fixed percentage of company profits supplemented by grants, donors, and corporate partnerships.
- Accountability: Annual independent audits, public impact reports, and continuous community feedback loops.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Annual impact assessments and third-party audits to ensure effectiveness and learning.
